About Jered
Jered Lanier is a central Florida rancher and maker. Seven generations of Laniers have worked this land since 1865, and he’s honored to steward it for the ones coming next. The homestead itself was given to his great-great-great-grandfather, Hardy Lanier, as payment for service in the Cow Cavalry during the Civil War.
He runs cows, keeps chickens for eggs and meat, and occasionally raises pigs. When something needs doing, he builds or repairs it—wood, metal, and field fixes that last.
What I Do
- Ranch & Cattle Herd stewardship, fence, water, pasture.
- Homestead Stock Eggs & meat chickens; occasional pigs.
- Field Repairs & Builds The things a ranch needs (not a service business).

Whole or half beef and whole dressed chickens may be available. Email for availability.
